Biography
Mehmet Ariman received BSc in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey in fall of 2011. During his BSc, he has spent one semester in TU Darmstadt as ERASMUS foreign exchange student where he completed his BSc thesis. During his BSc he focused on Security and its implementation on FPGA.
In the spring of 2012, he began his MS degree in the Department of Computer Engineering at the Istanbul Technical University. During his MSc, focus of his research is shifted to Computer Networks. He started working on Wireless Networks and extended his research to implementation of Software Defined Networking paradigm on Wireless Networks with precious guidance of Prof. Berk Canberk. He received MSc degree in spring of 2016. He published his work in IEEE NFVSDN in demo section.
In fall of 2016, he got accepted to Istanbul Technical University as PhD student. He has completed courses and preparing for proficiency. During his PhD he has reviewed several papers for known IEEE conferences such as LCN and INFOCOMM. He still contributes to Elsevier Computer Networks Magazine as reviewer.
His work experience enabled him master his skills on embedded platforms, especially communication systems. Exploiting this opportunity he has been able to realize the ideas he pursue by implementing real test-beds. He pursues his research in this direction.
